From the time you were a toddler you began to influence people and you were easily influenced by people and your surroundings. Thus this begun your journey of discovery, influence and molding for this rewarding life. Anytime you meet someone for the first time it may be your last meeting, so make a lasting impression of goodness and of great influence.

Influence: the capacity or power of persons or things to be a compelling force on or produce effects on the actions, behavior,opinions, etc., of others (Reference:Dictionary.com)

 When you meet someone they see you as a direct reflection of your parents, God and your upbringing. (Think about that!)
  • I don't care how old you are you have the power within your grasp to shape this world and the state of things. 
  • Think about how you've been influenced by the many people who have floated in and out of your life. 
  • So many reasons why people wander around aimlessly never moving forward. 
  • Some individuals don't have influential people in their lives to guide them to heights of achievement.
  • Other people are lost wanting more but are stagnate because of past influences that they don't know how to rid themselves of.
  • Then there are those who allow their peers to dictate their direction which is not going anywhere or of a destructive nature.
Don't you think it's about time you make a mental note to really watch how you influence others? There could be lasting affects that ruin someone's life if they are someone who doesn't think before they react. Everyone doesn't function with a common sense mentality so watch your words and actions.
How can you be influential for the good of humanity? (Take responsibility)
  • Utilize your gifts and talents to help others benefit from your experience.
  • Use your level of influence for good not evil.
  • Realize that everything you do, say and promise is under scrutiny and others always watch your outcome.
  • Take time out to thank those individuals which have influenced you along the way.
  • Mentor someone it cost nothing but time. Even if you've never officially been mentored by a particular, Pastor, Family member, Celebrity or Public figure someone has had a lasting impact on your growth and achievement.
Remember: Every time you come in contact with someone new you have the ability to impact, influence, mentor or be destructive to their mentality. So choose to lead by example it may be your last chance you get to impact their lives  and to redeem yourself from past mistakes.

Limit the excuses

We can be our worst enemies in regards to the limits we place over ourselves. How many times have you decided you couldn't do something before you've even attempted the task? If you have answered this question honestly it's probably at least two or three times you can recall and that's just too many in my book.  Remember our only true limitations are those which exist past the efforts you've already exhausted, without yielded results. Have you tried to do everything within in your realm of possibilities and beyond to see a particular task to completion? If not try-try and try again.
